How to create a ticket
The website is hey.orem.org.
Search for a ticket by selecting the search icon in the upper right hand corner of the "Tickets" tab. You can search for key words in the ticket, or search the ticket number.
You can assign the ticket to a individual or to a group. If you are unsure of which individual/group the ticket should go to, you can leave it assigned to 311 Services.
You can reassign the ticket to the responsible individual or group by selecting the +person icon while inside the ticket.
There are a couple of reasons you might not be receiving a text message.
First verify your phone number is listed on TIMECARD. Next make sure you have selected to receive text messages by logging into Hey Orem, selecting settings, and turning on SMS messaging. (This will make it so you will receive a text when a ticket is assigned directly to you)
If you would like to be notified when a ticket is assigned to a group you are a member of. Log into Hey Orem, select groups, select settings on the group, and turn on your SMS notification. (This will make it so you will receive a text when a ticket is assigned to the group)
You may need to close the tickets you have already answered/responded to. To close a ticket, click click on the flag symbol at the lower right hand corner of the ticket page. Select “close ticket” This will bring you to the closing page. You can choose to Close/Notify Submitter (close ticket and send the typed comment to the submitter) or Close the ticket (close without notifying anyone.)
