Ham Radio - General License
|
The City of Orem will host a 4-day course that will prepare you to obtain your ham radio general license. The class will be held on the following Tuesday evenings: March 17, 24, 31, and April 7th from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. The class will be held in the Orem Emergency Operations Center (Second Floor) at the City Center Building, 56 N. State Street, Orem. Please bring a laptop or tablet to the class, if you have one. No license is required for the course, but it will be assumed that all participants will have an understanding of the technician license exam contents. The course will cost $10.

|
The City of Orem will host a 5-day course that will prepare you to obtain your ham radio extra license. The class will be held on the following Tuesday evenings: July 14, 21, 28, and August 4 and 11, from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. The class will be held in the Orem Emergency Operations Center (Second Floor) at the City Center Building, 56 N. State Street, Orem. Please bring a laptop or tablet to the class, if you have one. No license is required for the course, but it will be assumed that all participants will have an understanding of the Technician and General License exam contents. The course will cost $10.
