Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a martial art developed by the Gracies over many decades, and is based on grappling and ground fighting. It showcased in the U.S. with the introduction of the UFC. BJJ was developed primarily with the intention of using technique & leverage to control a larger opponent in a self defense situation.
